Updated Pictures

Since it’s been a while we are going to include a few pictures of what we have been up to lately.  We went strawberry picking a few weeks ago with my family who was in town from Iowa, most recently we have been hanging out at Adam’s parents house on the lake and boating, and last weekend we made a trip to Branson, MO to visit my grandmother.

This summer has been so busy for us playing volleyball and kickball and trying to take 2 or 3 courses to get our MBAs.  However, we have learned our lesson and are going to take a semester off to just relax!

This December we will be going down to Aruba for my sister’s wedding.  She got engaged a month after Adam and I so we have been busy getting ready for her wedding, as it is coming up much quicker!!

Other than that, we have just been enjoying life with our families, especially watching all the little ones growing up so quickly!!

House

Here are a few pictures of our house.  We have the most beautiful landscaping and the flowers have become even more bright and full as the summer has gone on.  It is a bit of a chore to keep it up, but when we see it in full bloom it is all worth it!!

Reception Hall :)

Hello all!  I know its been a while since we updated…however not too much has been going on in the wedding arena lately.  With the exception of we did book our hall…yay!  We will be having our reception at Boulder Pointe in Oxford, Michigan on October 2, 2010.  So at least there will be a reception even if we don’t get the church booked that day

I have also gone out a few times to look at some of the wedding dresses.  I have been accompanied by my lovely bridesmaids, Michelle, Jennifer, Lissa, Cassie and Chelsea…at least once!  My mom has been a big help, of course, in letting me know exactly how she really feels about the dresses…which I appreciate mom   Also, my 2 month old nephew Wyatt has joined us each time, he is very good at dress shopping, he loves it!

I would post some pictures of my potential dresses up here but I know that Adam will cheat and look at them so I can’t do that…sorry!! 

I’m so excited to have all my sisters as my bridesmaids, I am incrediably blessed with 6 sisters to celebrate my special day and support me for the rest of my life.  I could not have picked a better wedding party!   I love each and everyone of you for who you are and what you bring to Adam and my life.  We are so honored to have you standing up with us.

Both Christy and I have been looking at reception halls and Churchs and soon (mid July) will have both selected.  I just wanted to update all who have been looking at this blog for updates, we have not forgotten about it .
